A Moment For No Internet Takeover.com

Please just a moment or two and make a comment to the FCC about the constitution. You know the freedom of speech part that I have my doubts if they understand. Here is an article from News Cast Daily about nointernettakeover.com

No internet takeover .com is not working.

I just went over to nointernettakeover.com partly to fill out and let my opinion be known. Because yes I think the FCC could go against our constitution and stifle free speech. We already know this administration does not care about our rights. So why would they stop now.

As I clicked on the link to make a comment to the FCC I got this “The MySQL error was: Too many connections.” It looks like Glenn Beck crashed another server. Mybe someday I will be so lucky. Keep up the good work Beck and for all that wish to go and make a comment to the FCC at www.nointernettakeover.com be patient and try again later.

When you get some time you might want to stop by Glenn Beck Videos and let me know what you think. It a site I put together to make things easy.

  1. I am for free speech and against government takeover of speech. I am willing to fight for rights afforded to us by the constitution.

  2. I am a reitred vetran who fought in Viet Nam, Bosnia and the first Desert Storm. I believe in God, Family and Country as well as the republic founded through the Constitution. I did not risk my life and see friends die to allow progressive liberals (Communists) destroy the freedoms guaarantee by the Constitution. I will continue to talk to everyone who will listen about the mess in Washington and the Bible, MT5:16.

Glen Beck and Fox: Keep up the good work and thank you for your service to our country. God Bless America!

To the FCC: The Internet is a key part of my freedom of speech guaranteed by the first Amendment, DO NOT LIMIT, CHANGE OR REMOVE IT FROM ME. DO NOT DENY ME ACCESS TO IT! Inspite of retoric by extreemists, the internet, Fox News and people like Glen Beck are a key part of my freedom of speech. To limit them in any way would be to limit my right to free speech and assembly.

  3. Trying to stop free speech on the internet, is the work of our Socialist Government, just as the Communists have done around the World. The FCC is considering going against our Constitution, and our God given rights. I support Glenn Beck and his American Policies, and his love of God and Country. I will fight for Freedom and all those who support it, and Glenn Beck is a good person to start with.

  4. hey you guys up in Washington don’t know what the constitution
is all about you think you are all powerful when a person is elected
he or she takes an oath to up hold the constitution so if it doesn’t mean anything why is it done wake up and be an American for a change

  5. the Constitution of The United States of America gives us the right of freedom of speech. Leave it alone

  6. I am for free speech and against government takeover of speech. I am willing to fight (non-violent) for rights afforded to us by the Constitution of the United States of America.!!

I am one of many Americans that are now relooking at the writings of our Founding Fathers and taking a stand to protect the values stated so simply but eloquently in our Constitution. We must protect our freedom of speech or we will loose all of our rights that we have for so long taken for granted. Please,we do not want the government to control the internet!

  8. To the FCC

I want to keep free speech in every venue in America. If I wanted net neutrality I would move to Cuba, China, or go hang out with Obama’s pal Hugo Chavez. We have a constitution that gives us the right to free speech, and there are a lot of people that have died for us to keep that right. FCC, you need to realize that Americans will not lose this right without a fight. Someone at the FCC needs to get a copy of the Constitution and Bill of Rights and READ it.

  9. I served my country under oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. My father, and his father, served in WWII and WWI as well under that same oath. Freedom of speech and expression sometimes seems to go too far, but I’ll take that risk over government sensorship any day. Don’t even THINK about a takeover. You have NO RIGHT to interfer in our lives like this. We, the people, dictate to YOU, not the other way around. You need to remember that right now. Pushing the people will lead to complete reversal, doing away with any good that might ever have been done.

  11. Dear Sirs:
I write this letter in response to a bill that is being proposed by some in Congress, whereby the Federal Government, using the FCC would stifle our free speech, in contravention to our 1st Amendment Rights as GUARANTEED in the United States Constitution. This proposed bill has but ONE purpose; that is to trod upon ANY speech in which the Federal Government finds contrary to its policies. Those whom have proposed this bill are taking a VERY dangerous step towards tyranny, and said bill is contrary to EVERYTHING that this Great Nation stands for, and is an INSULT to the memories of all those whom have paid the ultimate price for our freedoms, one of which, by the way, IS FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!! This bill sounds reminiscent as to the laws used in the former Soviet Union, that Lenin & Stalin used to SLAUGHTER over ten million Soviet citizens! Have we as a country descended this far so as to intimidate our own citizens to quiet servitude? THIS BILL STOPS HERE AND NOW! To try and force THIS odious bill on the American public would be to cause fulmination among the American people, and may end up ripping this country apart.

If you go through with this the rest of the country will be against you except for the far, far left and of course Nancy and Harry. On second thought, why don’t you go ahead and do it?

  13. We have the Billof Rights and the first amendment! To let marxists and commies dictate over the populace is treasonist! If they don’t like what is said by all paries involved, THEN LEAVE OUR COUNTRY! We are damn tired of these commies and msm and czars who want to have it their way and have biased info, well you;ll have to take all off the air and internet caused other wise you would be showing your bias. We are not a dictatorship we are a republic and you are then going against our founders, our rights and our FREE SPEECH! IN COURT YOU WOULD LOSE. If the idiot progressives and marxists can’t stand to hear the other view of the MAJORITYthen WE WON’T BE SILENCED BY THEIR ANTI-AMERICAN BIAS! I studied the FCC rules and regulations in college and you cannot show BIAS. FREEDOM and 1st amendment rights prevail in our Republic!

The difference between a liberal and a conservative: A conservative changes the channel or turns it off: A liberal thinks that no one should be able to listen to opposing views.

  15. Charles Wenzel on April 5th, 2010 at 6:25 pm

Free speech is a right provided to U.S. citizens by the Constitution. Conservatives on talk radio and television have the same rights of free speech afforded every American citizen. “Political speech” is clearly within the core protected area of the First Amendment. The Supreme Court has ruled that such speech should be uninhibited;even vehement, caustic, unpleasantly sharp speech is to be protected.

I oppose any government action to curtail conservative speech rights, create “balanced” commentary in media by forcing radio or television stations to air “contrary” viewpoints as part of political opinion programming, or otherwise limit conservative commentary!

Liberals & Progressives are not the only people allowed to have an opinion. You are not ALWAYS RIGHT and the rest of us WRONG!!!! The rest of us are allowed to speak our minds as well. We have the constitution for a reason and it’s time our government starts paying attention to it…… the way it is written, not the way they choose to interpret it!!! Glenn Beck is not crazy, he’s not a fear monger….. he simply tells it like it is. He’s quite educational and always has the facts to back up what he says. But even that doesn’t matter….. free speech gives him the RIGHT to be on the air and speak his mind. Live with it people!!!!

  17. Denise Parsons on April 6th, 2010 at 12:30 am

Do not take my free speech away from me! Don’t let Obama take our rights away 1 at a time!

  18. I am a 57 year old male who did not get into the military, but i serve my community as a law enforment officer. I love God, my country, and I cannot believe the direction this country has taken in the last year or so with this government taking over so many aspects of our lives and freedoms. I also raised my hand and swore that I would defend and support the contstitution of my country and of my state. I am appalled that others take so lightly what that vow means. Free Press ia a socialistic enterprise which does not represent the ideals of America. I do not, and will not support this idea of taking away the freedoms of speech guaranteed…..

  19. Why doesnt everyone in Washington D.C. including Obama try reading the consitution, oh thats right I forgot Obama is a socialist. Look at the people who he hangs out with. Go ahead and try to take freedom of speech away from us. I thank God everyday for sending us Glenn Beck and Rush. They speak the truth! To bad our president does not.

  20. The first thing that Hitler and the Nazi’s did is take over the media. The second thing they did was to arrest and execute anyone who might in any way be a threat to them, including many of those closest to Hitler when he was still on the way up.

The same thing was true for Lenin and his supporters during the Communist Revolution. Stalin, who took over when Lenin died executed about thirty million people. The Stalinist purges were directed at those closest to him in the political or military arena that his paranoia told him might be a threat.

Under Chairman Mao and the Chinese Communists, it was the same. He only executed or starved about sixty million people, many who were loyal supporters. After all, his paranoia told him that they might become a threat.

My suggestion to Obama supporters in Washington and elsewhere who wish to throttle free speech on the internet, in the press and on radio and television, be careful. Once it is too late, you may be perceived as a threat. Our President and the thugs around him do not believe in free speech for anyone who does not agree with them. This administration definitely looks very much like the government in Nazi Germany in the mid thirties under Hitler.
Does any reasonable person in Washington really want to tear down freedom in America, and then rebuild it in the model of communism similar to Nazi Germany, Communist China or the former U.S.S.R. The U.S.S.R. failed and could not compete after destroying thirty million lives. The same for the Red Chinese Communists (after destroying sixty million lives), and the Nazi’s. By the way, they are all now embracing freedom (though limited), and capitalism.

  21. Charles Combs: Bravo well said. Keep fighting for free speech ( no internet takeover ) if we don’t we will be welcoming people to the USSA ( United Soviet States of America ). Which I think would be welcomed by many like Pelose, Reid, Obama and anyone else that voted for heath care. Which I may add have all made statements that prove they are at least Socialist.

  22. Denise Sadowski on April 6th, 2010 at 7:52 pm

Thank God for Glenn Beck and all those with the same beliefs. It is not ONLY our freedom of speech I am concerned with, it is all our freedoms that this administration is trying to take away. The things that are being done are being done purposely to destroy this country. God help us all!!

  23. Denise Sadowski on April 6th, 2010 at 7:56 pm

Thank God for Glenn Beck and all those with the same beliefs. It is not only our freedom of speech being taken away that concerns me but all the rights this administration is taking away. Our only hope is God and He needs to help us all.

  24. people they have been detroying the constatution little by little for years.long befor enyone alive now was born.the last Four Presidents have been Progressives.from one side are the other there has been some evil things done to Citazens of this country for years i am not for violence but the fact remanes Freedom is not kept cheap freedom of speach is just a small part of there plan they are about power and control if you love freedom prepare to fight for it soon you will have no choice cant eny one see they dont care about the rights of others only there philosphy they could care less about what the American people think are feel they are only concernd with there on power

  25. Shutting down military bases and ceasing to deal with other nations with threats and violence is not isolationism. It is the opposite. Opening ourselves up to friendship, honest trade and diplomacy is the foreign policy of peace and prosperity. It is the only foreign policy that will not bankrupt us in short order, as our current actions most definitely will. I share the disappointment of the American people in the foreign policy rhetoric coming from the administration. The sad thing is, our foreign policy WILL change eventually, as Rome’s did, when all budgetary and monetary tricks to fund it are exhausted.
