The installation of a cable/DSL wireless router depends on the Internet connection and the Internet service provider. Connect the devices to the network following a certain protocol: turn on the modem first, then the router to the information from the modem and finally the computer that takes the info from the router. There are usually installation instructions that you can follow step by step and get to the bottom of it without any trouble.
Although there are many issues that you may need to check when purchasing a cable DSL wireless router, I'll mention just one more, that of the antennas. Some routers have a built-in antenna while others use an external one. The quality of the signal is lower for in-built antennas. Check what options there are available and make an informed choice!
