Bloom Box Launch is the big news in the energy gizmos today and for the past few days. It has a lot of people hoping it is the big energy breakthrough they say it is but I am still a little skeptical. I have said for year someone will come up with a solution to the energy problems of the world and I hope it will happen soon. The Bloom Box is not it but it is a start I Hope.

Here is the Bloom Box Launch Story from News Cast Daily

The Bloom Box launch was today and was praised by representatives from major companies and officials.

The much awaited Bloom Box Energy system launch included details about the Bloom Box, essentially a power plant inside a box. The California start-up claims it is a significant innovative in clean energy technology.

Schwarzenegger said at the Bloom Box launch that 160 years ago people flocked to California for the gold rush and that same spirit is alive in Bloom Energy‘s Bloom Box.

Bill Simon of Walmart, John Donahoe of eBay, Brian Kelly of Coca-Cola, and Google’s Larry Page also attended the Bloom Box launch. Donahoe remarked that this item is “almost too good to be true.”

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said of this item, “Make no mistake, once we look at Bloom, we will be looking at the future of business, economy, and America.”

Bloom Energy has disclosed of the fact that Bloom Box‘s carbon footprint is 50% cleaner than the standard power grid and 100% renewable. It provides power night and day (24/7/365). Technical details about the product is available here.

You can’t get one just yet, but Mr. Sridhar, founder of Bloom Energy, says there will be one in each and every American home in five to 10 years.

There are a few easily recognizable alternative energy resources. Throughout the many years quite a a couple of breakthroughs have been made and it is only in this current era that people are really reining in the power of Nature. The transition though from energy sources such as gas and coal is somewhat slow despite the fact that most alternative energy resources have been identified long time ago. Yet having said that; there are many energy companies that are making a well-meaning attempt to bring other energy resources to the stem. However, a world that runs on renewable energy may still take a good while.

As you may be conscious there are rather a few alternative energy resources that are obtainable at present. Solar energy is one main resource. Nonetheless, only a fraction of homes use this method leaving space for improvement in the field. Although solar energy is the way forward, the initial cost involved put many people off.

Another source of energy that would fall under the category of alternative energy resources is wind energy. Once again, the power of Nature in this example has been contained to a extended degree. However, one does feel that there is still quite a lot that can be done to bring this energy to the force. There are still so many ways in which wind energy can be used but still isn t. Again, the transition from the traditional methods to alternative energy resources is a slow moving process that should be looked in to quite seriously.

Hydrogen that is abundant in the air is applied to a great deal. This can be considered as being one of the well-nigh convenient of alternative energy resources. Better yet, there’s much more needing to be done to fuel our needs using alternative energy resources. Nonetheless, it is great to see that most car makers are in fact looking at this from a long term position. Take it as positive news as we stand in a world which is positive on combating pollution and diminishing reliance on traditional energy sources soon to be replaced by alternative energy resources.

When it comes to alternative energy companies, there are quite a few to make a mention of in the United States. If you were to in reality think about it, there has been a gradual but sure changeover from conventional use of fossil fuels towards to a greater extent alternative energy resources which would only seek to welfare the Earth. Many alternative energy companies operate with the vision of making this dream come true. However, since generations after generations have been socialized in to fossil fuels, the transition seems very hindered.

Some companies such as BP Global are sure enough movers and shakers in the industry. You should also acknowledge that alternative energy companies are in to no easy business. There is so much work and visionary ideas that want to be crafted not to remark a great level of investment too. Most alternative energy companies are now looking at a future fueled by alternative energy sources. Just as named the fact that it is a alter is not making matters any better.

Companies such as A123 and Vesta Wind Systems are just the few of the alternative energy companies that making a difference. Due to many politics that are in place, bring forward energy policies have become a real hassle. However, we all understand that the change is a dire want especially since it will brighten the future. That is why keeping abreast of new information and energy sources is vital. We are at this point utilizing quite a degree of energy and it will not at any point lesson since the Earth population also is poised to increase every single year.

While there may be enough wrangling going on with subsequent governments and alternative energy companies it comes as no surprise that renewable sources of energy are very much in demand. Even though we may not at this point in time envision the many uses they could be utilized for, there will be progressive opportunities presented in the near future. After all, as we all know via history, when there is a certain need solutions do crop up thanks to the ingenuity of man.

We have experimented with the Magnetic Power generator idea I had which was not a new idea just a little different than the ones I’ve seen. As of now I only had a little luck with it but not worth going into since it just won’t do the job as it is.

Not that I am giving up on it just yet but I will be working on the next perpetual motion generator on the list for a while. I really believe in free energy and will keep looking. If any of you have found one that really works I would love to here from you. Please feel free to leave a comment.

I was thinking of putting up a video on what I have done so far, maybe some one has an idea that will help me out. It maybe that I need to make this magnetic power generator with more precise measurements for it to work.

Just because I see it doesnt mean I beleave it so here are two free energy video’s that peaked my interest. I’m not sure which one will be next so stay tuned.

As those of you that have been following the Magnetic Power Generator Projects and articles my apologies for the delay. It is sometimes hard to find the time with all the things going on with family and work. The Magniwork project is coming along very slow.

The second Magnetic Power Generator project has made a little more progress. I have the test wheel done and am working on the outer magnet assembly. I used a table saw to make the wheel out of wood. Some of you may already know how this is done and I am thinking of doing a video on how this is done. I hope to do videos on every step of this project and share it with the readers, that is if it works. I decided to place the magnets at an angle and recess them along the side evenly distributed that ended up taking 16 magnets. I found my drill press was not up to this job and ended up using one at work.

I did do some testing that showed promise but have no firm conclusion at this time. I think that the local store that I got the magnets may think I am a bit magnet crazy, I have purchased all the mag. they had in stock twice and am waiting for another shipment. Hope they come soon it is a little frustrating to have time and not have the things I need to proceed.

Where I am now on this magnetic power generator project now is working on the magnet mounting brackets. Here will be the part I am having a problem working out. What angle will work? Does it need to be angled? How many magnets will it take and do I need more on one side than the other.

If you are interested Magniwork in the Magnetic Energy Generator (Magnetic Power Generator)

There are many sources of energy to tap for electricity. However, most of these are pretty expensive for an individual to obtain or to maintain. This is the reason why many of us are reliant on the electricity produced by power producers. They are, in turn, victims to the very erratic oil prices which are needed to power their generators. Luckily, there is an alternative that is not only inexpensive but a limitless source of electricity: the magnet power generator.

This electricity source has taken the world by storm in the past couple of months. Although the concept of using magnets to produce electricity is not new, the generator that could produce it economically viable for homes has been recently invented.

The many benefits that one could derive from using a magnet power generator are:

1. It powers itself so you do not have to look for a resource to make it run such as diesel oil, coal, water, sun or wind. This also means that it could provide electricity in perpetuity unless its moving parts broke down.

2. It could work for any home. It could be easily installed and does not require much space.

3. It could help save you 50% in your monthly electric bills. It could be even more depending on how extensively and efficiently you utilize these power generators.

4. Finally, the materials needed to build it are very easy and inexpensive to acquire. There are also a lot of materials that are very easy to follow on how to build one.

A magnet power generator is the answer in these rising prices of fuel and electricity. This doesn’t mean that there is no more need to conserve it. We just need to be more prudent on using it.

I found this Solar Power News on the Drudge Report.
It seems as though Google Inc is a bit disappointed in the lack of breakthrough investment ideas in the green energy technology sector. Google has been working to develop its own new solar mirror technology that could possibly reduce the cost of building solar thermal plants by a quarter or more.

Here is a quot “We’ve been looking at very unusual materials for the mirrors both for the reflective surface as well as the substrate that the mirror is mounted on,” the company’s green energy czar (I am so feed up with the us of czar it sounds like we are in Russia) Bill Weihl told Reuters Alternative Energy and Global Climate Summit in San Francisco on Wednesday.

Google, known for its Internet search engine, in late 2007 said it would invest in companies and do research of its own to produce affordable renewable energy (alternative energy)within a few years.

The company’s engineers have been focusing on solar thermal technology, in which the sun’s ray’s are used to heat up some substance that produces steam to turn a turbine. Mirrors are used to focus the sun’s rays on the substance to be heated.

Weihl said Google is hoping to cut the cost of making heliostats, the fields of mirrors that have to track the sun, by a factor of two, or three or maybe four.

“Typically what we’re seeing is $2.50 to $4 a watt (for) capital cost,” Weihl said. “So a 250 megawatt installation would be $600 million to a $1 billion. It’s a lot of money.”

That works out to to something like 12 to 18 cents a kilowatt hour.

Google is hoping to have a viable technology to show internally within a couple of months, Weihl said. It will need to do accelerated testing to show the impact on the new mirrors over decades of wear in desert conditions.

“We’re not there yet,” he said. “I’m very hopeful we will have mirrors that are cheaper than what companies in the space are using..”

Gas Turbines are another technology that Google is working on. The gas turbines would run on solar power rather than natural gas, an idea that may have the potential of cutting the cost of electricity even more, Weihl said.

“In two to three years we could be demonstrating a significant scale pilot system that would generate a lot of power and would be clearly mass manufacturable at a cost that would give us a levelized cost of electricity that would be in the 5 cents or sub 5 cents a kilowatt hour range,” Weihl said.

Google has invested in two solar thermal companies, BrightSolar and eSolar but is not working with the two companies in developing the cheaper mirrors or turbines.

In wide-ranging remarks, Weihl also said the United States needs to raise government-backed research significantly, particularly in the very initial stages to encourage breakthrough ideas in the sector. ( government-backed research means your money and my money ).
Weihl said there is a lack of companies that have ideas that would be considered breakthroughs in the green technology sector. After announcing its plans to create renewable energy at a price lower than power from coal, it has invested less than $50 million in other companies.

Weihl said Google had not intended to invest much more in early years, but that there was little to buy.

“I would say it’s reasonable to be a little bit discouraged there and from my point of view, it’s not right to be seriously discouraged,” he said. “There isn’t enough investment going into the early stages of investment pipeline before the venture funds come into the play.”

The U.S. government ( you and me again ) needs to provide more funds to develop ideas at the laboratory stage, he said.

“I’d like to see $20 billion or $30 billion for 10 yrs (for the sector),” Weihl said. “That would be fabulous. It’s pretty clear what we have seen isn’t enough.” ($20 billion or $30 billion very generous with our money is he not! )

Magnetic Drive and Ceiling Fan Generator!

Is this combo a good idea or just one of my hair brain ideas?

As I work though the Magnetic Power Generator project I found myself looking into other alternative energy sources. Jim and I were out looking for some of the things we needed for the project and talked about the ceiling fan idea I saw on YouTube.

We have talked about a wind turbine made from a ceiling fan and the magnetic drive wheel for the Magnetic Power Generator. The two video’s I have included will give you some idea of what I have in mind. The wheel will be much smaller but as of yet I don’t know just how big a magnetic wheel will have to be to drive the ceiling fan I have.

If the two can be combined then the Magnetic Power Generator would be complete. But we are still going to build the the original project. This is just one of the alternative energy projects I am thinking of doing. I think when this is all done I may end up with with Solar Panels, Wind Turbines and a Magnetic Power Generator. I also have the feeling all this will take much longer than I thought. When you work 6 and 7 day’s a week and around every turn in this project you find you need this and that and to learn things you had not originaly aware you needed to know, well i’m sure you understnd what I mean.

Magnetic Power Generator: Your Ultimate Solution to the Energy Crisis

No one can deny that there is a pending crisis for power. This knowledge led many engineers to make machines that will harness energy from the wind and the sun. However, there are still challenges that exist with these alternative power sources. You cannot harness energy form the sun or the wind if the sun does not shine or the wind does not blow. As a result, there is still a need for another means of generating power without having to rely on these two types of energy sources. Right now, the most effective solution is the magnetic power generator.

This works without having to depend on the sun, water, or the wind. The source of energy for a magnetic power generator is a magnet. There are three magnets placed in the motor, two of which have extreme polarities and the other one balances the force field created by the opposing magnetic poles. The motor converts this force field into energy that you can use to power things that need electricity.

If you have a magnetic power generator, you will no longer depend on power corporations for electricity. You will not experience power outages and this is one of the best things that could ever happen especially if you have a business. If you rely on power corporations, you are likely to get really mad if the power outages happen frequently.

Another benefit of this machine is that it needs very low maintenance and it does not emit any fumes that can harm the environment. A magnetic power generator will also help you save tremendous amount of money. On top of this, this machine can give you 7,000 watts of power everyday and you do not have to worry about electricity anymore. To get started, buy the manual now and start building your own machine. If you do not want to build your own, then you simply buy some that is already built and start using it.

Magnetic Power Generator update.

I just wanted to update the readers of Gizmo and Gadget News about our progress on the Magnetic Power Generator. Jim ordered the plans last week and got them online within minutes. He got them at Magniworks and paid $49.00. We have now both gone over the plans and think this might just be doable. We discussed a couple of opinions we could take on this project one of which was to buy new what we needed and the second was to salvage ( scrounge )what we could wherever we could. We both agreed it was part of the fun to salvage anything possible and at the same time save some hard earned cash. With the economy the way it is we also thought it might help some of you to be able to afford this project for yourselves.

Our first salvage will be the aluminium plate sense we already have the wire that the Magnetic Power Generator requires. Its always nice to save some cash right out of the starting gate. I know the fact that we won’t be salvaging the wire will not help you and you may end up buying the wire new. If we come up with ideas on places to scrounge up so wire I will ad it to a later posting. Perhaps some of the readers will have ideas on that topic and comment on this in the comment area of this posting. Heck for that matter if you have any comment please feel free to share them with the rest of us.

Here is something I would like to let everyone know. Jim and I both are doing this for several reasons one is to become more self sufficient. We doth would like our homes to be totally off the grid and completely self sufficient. This Magnetic Power Generator ( alternative energy ) project is just the first we will be doing over the next year or two.

We are not doing this to go green, at least not in the since that many use the term. Many people are going green as a political statement as in P.C. ( politically correct ). I don’t like P.C. it seems as though it being used against our right to free speech. If we were to look at this Magnetic Power Generator ( alternative energy ) as a political statement it would be to tell the politicians to take a flying leap. Just think of how much power we could take away from the self righteous, self serving, power hunger politicians if enough of us became self sufficient in the energy department.

This Magnetic Power Generator project may take me to a greener place but not because I’m a tree huger.
