Magnetic Power Generator Progress
As those of you that have been following the Magnetic Power Generator Projects and articles my apologies for the delay. It is sometimes hard to find the time with all the things going on with family and work. The Magniwork project is coming along very slow.
The second Magnetic Power Generator project has made a little more progress. I have the test wheel done and am working on the outer magnet assembly. I used a table saw to make the wheel out of wood. Some of you may already know how this is done and I am thinking of doing a video on how this is done. I hope to do videos on every step of this project and share it with the readers, that is if it works. I decided to place the magnets at an angle and recess them along the side evenly distributed that ended up taking 16 magnets. I found my drill press was not up to this job and ended up using one at work.
I did do some testing that showed promise but have no firm conclusion at this time. I think that the local store that I got the magnets may think I am a bit magnet crazy, I have purchased all the mag. they had in stock twice and am waiting for another shipment. Hope they come soon it is a little frustrating to have time and not have the things I need to proceed.
Where I am now on this magnetic power generator project now is working on the magnet mounting brackets. Here will be the part I am having a problem working out. What angle will work? Does it need to be angled? How many magnets will it take and do I need more on one side than the other.
